- This is a "refresher" course and only for those who need 4 hours of training. Lunch is NOT provided.
- This trademarked ServSafe class is led by Michelle Hill, FoodSafetyGuy.
- The ServSafe Food Manager book is NOT included and is not required, but can be purchased separately here .
- The certificate for 4-CEUs will be issued electronically after class - please follow the instructions below to file for your CFPM Renewal with the Minnesota Department of Health.
Minnesota Department of Health - CFPM Registration Requirement:
- According to the Minnesota Food Code part G, all CFPM's must register with the Minnesota Department of Health within six months of earning a CFPM certification. The Minnesota CFPM registration is in-force for three years and must be renewed every three years to remain valid. Once you are entered into the Minnesota CFPM database, you should receive a reminder notice to complete 4-hours of Food Safety training before the expiry of your registration.
STEPS TO RENEW
- Earn 4-CEUs in "Food Safety" by attending class on August 3, 2025.
- Submit proof of earning 4-CEUs by uploading the FoodSafetyGuy-issued Certificate to the Minnesota Department Health's Licensing System.
- Enter a Claim Code - this is needed to complete the online renewal process.
- If you received correspondence from the Minnesota Department of Health - please refer to it and take note of your unique "Claim Code" and be prepared to enter it when prompted during the online renewal process.
- If you have not received correspondence from the Minnesota Department of Health -you must contact the Department of Health to obtain a Claim Code.
- To Request a Claim Code: When contacting the Department of Health, be sure to include your full legal name, your current FM#, and the expiry date of your registration.
- Leave a detailed voicemail message for a callback at: (651)201-4500.
- Send a detailed email message ([email protected]): include your full legal name, phone number and email address.
- Access the Minnesota Department of Health Licensing System's Help Page.
- Verify your registration has been updated by accessing the Minnesota Department of Health's CFPM database look-up.
- Watch for your MN CFPM Registration card to arrive via the USPS.
