Membership

Our state Association has over 2,600 school foodservice professionals working hard to help children by advancing school nutrition programs in our state. Our strength comes from those of you who help students get one or more nutritious meals in school every day. Together, we can make a difference in our communities, our state and our nation. Together, we can work towards increased program funding, better regulations, greater acceptance in the education community and a stronger image.

SNA Announces the New Member Portal | September 2026

What to Know:

Access the new member portal here. This new portal is designed to provide members with easier ways to manage their membership and access information online.

For the first time, members can complete certificate and SNS exam applications digitally through the new system.

State leaders have access to improved reporting tools and searchable membership rosters. School district membership administrators can manage their rosters online, transfer employees instantly, and create and pay invoices online.

Beginning October 1, 2026, membership categories will be streamlined from 12 categories to eight:

Employee and Manager categories will combine into School/Site Nutrition Staff.

District Director/Supervisor and Major City Director/Supervisor will become District Directors and Supervisors.

The Educator and Other categories will become Associate.

The Student and Retired categories will remain, while Affiliate-Employee and Affiliate-Retired will be consolidated into a single Affiliate category for part-time school nutrition staff.

This change will also result in a slight increase in category dues:
